What the website does
The website does not include visitor analytics, advertising pixels or an account system. Fonts, diagrams, scripts and the search index are served with the website rather than loaded from third-party asset services.
There is no facility to upload documents, submit a claim or send an enquiry through this resource. Do not put private financial information, identifying case details or sensitive personal information into a search or shared link.
Preferences stored on this device
When supported by your browser, local storage remembers a small number of reading preferences. These values are not a website account and are not synchronised between devices.

Preferences remain until you clear them, clear the site’s browser data, or your browser removes them. Private browsing and storage restrictions can prevent them from being retained. The guides remain available when storage is unavailable.
Clear your preferences
This removes the four website preference values from the current browser and returns the colour theme to light. It does not clear your browser history, bookmarks, downloaded or printed files, or hosting logs.
Search and shared addresses
Search matching runs in the browser using the site’s search index. Search terms and selected filters may appear in the page address. An address can therefore reveal those terms in browser history, a copied link or technical request records when that address is loaded.
Comparison links likewise identify the selected procedures and jurisdiction. Check the address before sharing it if those selections reveal something you would prefer to keep private.
Hosting and technical connection data
The site is hosted through Cloudflare. Delivering and protecting a web request involves technical connection data, such as the requesting IP address, requested address, time and browser information. Cloudflare may process related security and operational information through its hosting network.
This means that “no visitor analytics” does not mean that no technical data is processed. Hosting and security processing is separate from the browser-only reading preferences described above. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its description of relevant processing.

Following an external source link takes you to a service governed by its own privacy and cookie arrangements. A publisher may require sign-in or membership. This website does not receive access to an account you use on a linked service.
